MV AMADEO 1 - Kirke Canal, Chile - In October 2014, RESOLVE was contracted to provide cargo & wreck removal services for the Ro-Ro ferry, AMADEO 1 in Kirke Canal, Chile. RESOLVE moved assets from across the globe including RESOLVE EARL, a 134T BP tug, RESOLVE COMMANDER, a 78T BP tug, and deck cargo barges, RMG 302 and RMG 280. After four months, the crew successfully parbuckled and refloated the vessel. On September 21, 2015, RESOLVE scuttled the AMADEO 1 off the coast of Chile.
MV TANTO HARI - Surabaya, Indonesia - In the summer of 2015, RESOLVE was awarded a bid to refloat the wreck of the containership, TANTO HARI, in Surabaya, Indonesia. RESOLVE deployed the RMG 500, a 500-ton shear leg barge, to assist with the efforts.
MV AJAW - Ciudad del Carmen, Mexico - In July 2015, RESOLVE was awarded a contract to remove the AJAW Crew Boat in Ciudad del Carmen, Mexico. Utilizing the RMG-400, a 165’ 400-ton shear leg barge, along with a customized guillotine, the crew sectioned off the wreck then lifted each piece onto a barge where it was transferred to a scrapping facility.
BIMINI WORLD RESORT CATAMARAN - North Bimini, Bahamas - Using an excavator, front end loader, bobcat, and dump trucks, RESOLVE dismantled a 72 foot catamaran which ran aground on North Bimini, Bahamas, and pulled it onto the land, where it was loaded into dump trucks and disposed of at a landfill.
POE GIANT 12 - Singapore - A large RESOLVE crew worked together with explosives experts to conduct a controlled demolition of cranes onboard the barge POE GIANT 12 to prevent them from toppling onto a historic lighthouse.
SALAMA - Qatar - RESOLVE used a combination of pumps and air to refloat the barge Salamah and salvage it’s cargo, 500 tons of gabbro type rock in the form of large/medium sized boulders.
BEAUMONT RESERVE FLEET - Beaumont, TX; Tow - RESOLVE's pumping division defueled three vessels in the MARAD mothball fleet.
NEPTUNE - Umnak Island, AK; Salvage - The 58’ crabber NEPTUNE 1 grounded on the North side of Umnak Island, Alaska, where she sat 100 feet offshore, barely submerged at high tide with a port list and stern to shore. Salvage crews installed two rigging points to the wreck to pull the vessel onto the beach. Once pulled on shore the crew sectioned and removed the vessel using the crane barge RMG 300.
DELTA AMBER & NICHOLAS - Gulf of Mexico; Tow - RESOLVE deployed the RMG 250 after two tugs sank in the Gulf of Mexico. The crew towed the DELTA AMBER to its owners in Alabama and handed over the NICHOLAS to its owners on site.
ROHR - Irwindale, CA; Refloat - An ROHR dredge sank roughly 500 feet from shore in the deepest part of the gravel pit in Irwindale, CA. Submerged under 90 feet of water, RESOLVE utilized divers to patch the tanks on the dredge and ran a 3-inch chain under the barge. The chain was attached to pullers located on pin barges in a square formation, with the center open for raising the dredge barge in the center. During refloating operations air was pumped into the sunken dredge tanks and lifted with the chain pullers.
GARIMA PREM - Lianyungang, China; Refloat - The bulk carrier GARIMA PREM, loaded with iron ore, ran aground off Lianyungang port on its way to Lanshan. No injuries were reported and the vessel was successfully refloated.
COSTA CONCORDIA - Giglio, Italy; Tow - The RESOLVE EARL arrived in Giglio, Italy in July 2014 and served as one of the lead tugs that towed the 290-meter COSTA CONCORDIA to Genoa for inspection and scrapping.
M/V RENA - Debris Removal - Completing the final phase of the M/V RENA job, RESOLVE utilized specialized divers, the RMG-500 crane barge, and the RMG-1000 to remove debris from the site of the wreck.
M/V RENA - Tauranga, New Zealand; House Removal - RESOLVE continued the third phase of the M/V RENA job by removing the 350-ton accommodation block from the site, after it had been underwater for two years. Utilizing the crane barge RMG-500 RESOLVE's crew lifted the house and placed it on the RMG-1000 where it was then moved off site for scrapping.
M/V COMMANDER - Christiansted, St. Croix; Tow - M/V COMMANDER ran aground while entering the Christiansted channel. RESOLVE picked up the vessel in Christiansted, St. Croix and towed it successfully to the Ciramar dry-dock in Las Calderas, Dominican Republic.
M/V BOSTON EXPRESS - Tow - The M/V BOSTON EXPRESS suffered from main engine camshaft damage and was adrift in the North Pacific when RESOLVE sent the RESOLVE PIONEER to assist successfully in the urgent tow.
WESTERN MARINER - Emergency Tow - RESOLVE provided emergency tow assistance to fishing vessel, WETERN MARINER, which had lost a propeller in the Bearing Sea.
RENA - New Zealand; Bow Removal - RENA ran aground on 5 October 2011. The vessel broke in half around frame 180, leaving the bow section above water while the stern sunk. RESOLVE was hired to remove the bow section to one-meter below the waterline. Resolve determined that ultra-thermic cutting and removal, using the RMG 500, would be most efficient.
FSPO RAROA - New Zealand; Salvage - RESOLVE Salvage & Fire conducted a fuel removal operation with specialized pumps, successfully removing fuel that had previously been failed to be removed.
BARGE WASHINGTON - Hagemesiter, Alaska; Tow - Resolve’s services were called upon when the BARGE WASHINGTON had issues with towing wench. The RESOLVE FROST tug picked up the tow near Hagemiester and carried it to Naknek, Alaska to deliver fuel to the town.
F/V CHAOS - Cape Cheerful, Unalaksa; Salvage - F/V CHAOS ran aground near Dutch Harbor, Alaska after rough weather led her anchor line to break. RESOLVE successfully removed all fuel from the vessel.
ALYSEKA BOOM CRANE - Dutch Harbor, AK - An Alyeska Seafoods crane was laying on the face of its cab with its boom fully extended and at a perpendicular angle. RESOLVE successfully righted the crane and de-rigged the chain around its boom. The crane was then rigged at the out-rigger points and lifted onto the deck of the RMG 300 and encircled with absorbent boom.
THERESA JANINE - Mexico; Salvage - THERESA JANINE caught on fire and extensively burnt while undergoing repairs. RESOLVE identified severe fire damage in the super structure and engine room area, as well as all compartments as tidal. RESOLVE pumped and then de-watered the engine room, while at no time discharging any hydrocarbons or oil overboard. All leaks were patched and closed, and debris removed from water around the containment boom.
CELESTE ANN - Gulf Of Mexico; Salvage/Tow - CELESTE ANN sunk on 14 June 2013 after a two-foot hull breach in way of the engine room caused it to flood. RESOLVE Salvage & Fire identified the damage in the engine room, installed a patch, and completed a pump-out of the vessel. After being made safely afloat, the CELESTE ANN was then towed by RESOLVE’S LANA ROSE to Ocean Marine scrap yard in Amelia, Louisiana.
HELGE HOVLAND - Venice, LA; Salvage/Tow - On the evening of 20 May 2013, HELGE HOVLAND experienced rapid flooding in the engine room, being grounded by the stern on a sandbar. RESOLVE was able to dewater the HELGE engine room successfully, patch and repair the hull breaches, and refloat the vessel without one drop of pollution touching the water. This was crucial as there was a National Wildlife Preserve within 200 yards. RESOLVE then successfully towed the vessel to Moss Point, Mississippi.
SUERTE - Xiamen, China; Salvage - This 72,000 DWT gearless bulk carrier was partly laden after a collision while sailing from Xiamen, China to Dumai, Indonesia. Temporary reinforcement repairs were done, in order to facilitate a short voyage to a dry-dock, and cargo was redistributed in order to best reduce stress, reduce draft, and keep even keel.
M/V Diamond Sea - Colon, Panama; Lightering/Refloating - RESOLVE refloated the 186' DIAMOND SEA offshore supply vessel following its grounding in heavy weather in Colon, Panama. The vessel's plating, framing and coolers were impacted, and as the vessel was loaded with over 300 tons of oil slop cargo, there was a significant threat of fuel spillage. RESOLVE was contracted to lighter the vessel, refloat her, render her seaworthy, and redeliver her to the owner. After surveying the damage, the RESOLVE team sealed holes in the underwater hull and internal bulkheads, dewatered flooded compartments, and removed all fuel and oil slop cargo from the vessel, avoiding any spillage or environmental pollution. RESOLVE then placed roller bags beneath the hull to reduce ground reaction and used two powerful tugs to safely pull the vessel from the rocky shoreline into deeper water. The Diamond Sea was then towed through the Panama Canal and redelivered to the owner.
CARNIVAL TRIUMPH - Gulf of Mexico - RESOLVE Salvage & Fire was retained by Carnival Cruise Lines to tow the disabled Carnival Triumph to safe harbor after an engine room fire caused the 102,000-ton cruise ship to lose power. The AHTS RESOLVE Pioneer engaged the vessel to tow it safely to port. Using a helicopter RESOLVE provisioned the Triumph with food, water, and generators by airlifting palettes from RESOLVE's M/V LANA ROSE. RESOLVE worked closely with Carnival operations personnel, the Triumph's captain, and the US Coast Guard to safely deliver the passengers and vessel to Mobile, AL.
OCEAN ECLIPSE - Kingston; Jamaica - After towlines were disengaged due to rough weather and the engine failure of a contracted tug, the OCEANIC POWER became grounded on a reef off of Kingston. The LPG tanker's owners contracted RESOLVE to refloat the vessel, grounded by approximately 2,100 tons. In the vessel's wind and swell exposed position, RESOLVE lightered cargo, de-ballasted water tanks and coordinated the pulling of the vessel concurrently which led to the successful refloating of the OCEANIC POWER.
JIREH - Mona Island, Puerto Rico; Salvage/Wreck Removal Initially contracted to lighter and refloat the 202-foot freighter Jireh, off from the Natural Reserve of Mona Island's coral reef, the vessel was ultimately declared a wreck. RESOLVE working closely with the US Coast Guard, NOAA and US Fish and Wildlife cleared the wreck from the site and recycled more than 300 tons of steel from the wreckage with minimal effect to the protected reserve nearby.
SEAGATE - This fully loaded 557-ft bulker collided with a container ship and sustained severe damage to the engine room and accommodations. After ship-to-ship lightering the full load of grain, the RESOLVE team dewatered the ship, and made extensive repairs for the tow to follow-on port. RESOLVE was instrumental in obtaining "Official Port of Refuge" clearance and provided complete pollution control and remediation throughout the operation

OBERON - Peng Hu Tao Island; Taiwan - The 2,695 ton vessel, Oberon, ran aground off of the northern tip of Peng Hu Tao Island in the Taiwan Strait with more than 1,000 MT of volatile LPG 1- Butene onboard. The vessel sustained extensive hull damage and posed a serious threat of explosion and further environmental damage. Adding to the dilemma, the vessel and cargo load remained highly susceptible to numerous typhoons. In a high risk open-water hose transfer operation, RESOLVE meticulously removed the volatile cargo. Successful salvaging of the vessel followed with the return of the intact LPG tanks to the owner.
TROPIC SUN - Salt Island, BVI; Lightering/Refloating/Towing - The container RO/RO vessel MV TROPIC SUN grounded on the West side of Salt Island, bordering the RMS Rhone Marine Park. Due to the impending hurricane season, a thorough and speedy lightering and towing job ensued with minimal effects to the marine park. A comprehensive dive survey was conducted post removal to evaluate damages for the owners prior to vessel release.
ROYAL - Port Royal, Jamaica; Salvage - The M/T Royal, a 143 - meter product tanker, ran aground while entering Port Royal, Jamaica. RESOLVE dispatched a Salvage Master, Naval Architect, and dive team. Upon surveying the vessel, the team determined there was no cargo aboard and a majority of her ballast (2,900 tons) had already been pumped off to make the vessel light enough to be pulled free. The tug RESOLVE Suhaili, with bollard pull of 100 tons, then pulled the M/T Royal from the stern, and successfully refloated her. After transferring the vessel to the emergency anchorage, the RESOLVE dive team determined there was little damage and the vessel was transferred to the inner anchorage.
PERSEVERANCE DRYDOCK - San Juan, Puerto Rico; Salvage - RESOLVE was engaged to refloat a sunken, damaged dry dock. During the sinking, the dry docks' internal pumping system became inoperable due to flooding of the docks' control station.
Also, internal damage sustained during the sinking event made several of the internal compartments common, degrading the stability of the dry dock. RESOLVE first installed 12 electric submersible pumps and then utilized the RMG 400 shear leg heavy lift crane barge to maintain longitudinal stability of the structure during the 18-day refloat operation.
AL RAWDAH - Singapore Straits; Salvage - While transiting the Singapore Straits, this 306m containership grounded and sustained a breach in the #3 cargo hold. As a result, the hold flooded and some of the containers carrying lube oil, were damaged and leaked into the hold.
RESOLVE was retained by the owners to decontaminate and discharge all remaining containers from the damaged hold and remove the oil so the vessel could proceed to dry-dock to effect repairs. RESOLVE carried out the operation ahead of schedule.
ANGELN - St. Lucia, West Indies; Wreck Removal - RESOLVE refloated the sunken container vessel ANGELN and then scuttled the wreck at a deep water reefing site. The 435 ft, loaded container ship sank at a depth of 110 ft in the shipping lane three miles outside Vieux Fort, St. Lucia.
RESOLVE mobilized a team of salvors and equipment including the salvage tugs RESOLVE SUHAILI and RESOLVE PIONEER and floating shear leg RMG-400. The operation included clearing the debris field; lifting and relocating the deck house; refloating and disposal of the vessel. Throughout the operation, RESOLVE monitored the wreck site for oil leakage and also removed and recovered containers containing oil.
KANKENSANTHURAI HARBOUR WRECK REMOVAL - Kankensanthurai Harbour, Sri Lanka; Salvage - Wreck removal operations are underway in this northern Sri Lanka port to remove six wrecks ranging in size from 17m to 99.5m. Two wrecks are outside the Harbour, four are within the Harbour and all are either fully or partially submerged, obstructing safe access to and within the port. The operation requires not only the removal of wrecks but use of state-of-the-art, 3-D image scanning equipment which will identify all obstructions within a 500-meter radius of each wreck, thus ensuring removal of wreck debris in preparation for dredging of the Harbour and channel. RESOLVE mobilized a team of expert personnel and equipment to cut up the vessels and move the wreckage ashore, where the scrap will be disposed of, clearing the Harbour in preparation for dredging and further rehabilitation.
MACHINIST DRYDOCK - Apra Harbor, Guam; Salvage - An 825 ft drydock sank during a rough weather event in Apra Harbor, Guam. RESOLVE performed a comprehensive casualty assessment to determine structural and watertight conditions of the drydock and to ascertain the status of its systems. A detailed engineering analysis was undertaken and a salvage plan was developed and implemented, involving extensive preparatory work both topside and underwater. To overcome the challenge of a largely inoperable pumping system, RESOLVE mobilized 12 high-capacity electric salvage pumps. Numerous gauging systems were established to monitor tank pressures and condition throughout the refloat operation. RESOLVE completed the complex refloating operation in just over 30 days.
AINU PRINCESS - Florida, Keys; Towage - The AINU PRINCESS, a 17,324 DWT vessel loaded with grain and bound for Cuba was adrift due to loss of propulsion power 85 nautical miles west of Key West, FL and 15 miles from the Florida Keys National Marine Sanctuary and Dry Tortugas National Park. Drifting northeasterly at 2.2 knots, the vessel posed a potential threat of grounding and spilling 240,000 gallons of fuel onboard, in the sensitive marine environment. Upon notification by USCG, RESOLVE deployed the AHTS Resolve Pioneer which had been stationed off Key West for emergency response. The Pioneer towed the vessel south toward Cuba, while her crew continued to make repairs to the propulsion equipment. At approx 15 nautical miles north of Cuban territorial waters, repairs were completed and the towline was released when the vessel was able to proceed under her own power.
CLIPPER ADVENTURER - Coronation Gulf, Canada; Emergency Response - This expedition cruise ship ran aground and was stranded on an uncharted rock in Canada's Northwest Passage. RESOLVE equipment and personnel were flown in to the remote site north of the Arctic Circle. After assessing numerous breaches in the hull, vent seals and temporary repairs were effected to enable refloating. Roller bags were placed under the hull to prevent further damage in the rough seas and lift the vessel. Four tugs pulled the vessel from the stern at high tide, freeing it from the rock. The Clipper was towed to Port Epworth for temporary repairs and returned to the owner.
BRO PREMIUM - Galveston, TX; Hull Repairs - This fully laden tanker was taking on water in the engine room at the southern Galveston Anchorage. The Captain of the BRO PREMIUM (44,999dwt) immediately activated his VRP and directly called upon RESOLVE to mobilize a dive team and pumping system to assist. The dive team successfully inserted an inflatable plug / temporary patch in the ship's hull to stop the source of water intake while the crew carried out the necessary repairs onboard.
ISABEL KNUTSEN - Galveston, TX; Salvage - RESOLVE responded to the ISABEL KNUTSEN (22,377dwt) which had grounded just inside Galveston Bay. A salvage master and naval architect were mobilized and onboard within a few hours. After making the necessary calculations, the salvage master ordered some internal cargo transfers and deballasting which enabled the ship to refloat with the assistance of four (4) tugs totaling 275 tons bollard pull.
PACIFIC VOYAGER - Kingston, Jamaica; Salvage - The container ship, PACIFIC VOYAGER (33,751dwt), grounded while exiting the Port of Kingston. RESOLVE along with partner Svitzer Salvage mobilized a salvage team along with two tugboats and safely refloated her.
KALEBAH - Miami, FL; Tow - The disabled General Cargo ship, KALEBAH, lost power off the coast of Florida. The shipsowners activated Resolve under their Vessel Response Plan and a tug and tow master were mobilized to safely tow the vessel to Miami where it was turned over to its owners.
VOGETRADER - Barbers Point, HI; Salvage - Grounded Bulk Carrier VOGETRADER (72,171dwt) went aground while entering the harbor channel at Barber�s Point. Resolve immediately mobilized a salvage master and salvage engineer while simultaneously activating a local resource partner to perform the initial survey. The vessel was refloated, its haul temporarily repaired, and fuel lightered prior to port entry. Upon completion of cargo operations, the fuel was reloaded.
EAGLE OTOME - Port Arthur, TX; Salvage - Tanker EAGLE OTOME (95,663dwt) collided with a barge in the Sabine-Neches waterway spilling approximately 450,000 gallons of crude oil. Resolve, acting under the vessel�s response plan, mobilized numerous assets including portable fire pumps, lightering pumps and intrinsically safe powerpacks to the casualty. Working closely with USCG Incident Command, Resolve stabilized the vessel and successfully lightering the ship before returning it to its owners.
SICHEM DEFIANCE - New York, NY; Salvage - 443 ft Chemical Tanker SICHEM DEFIANCE experienced a tank implosion while loading ethanol. Having developed an intricate cargo transfer plan, Resolve stabilized the vessel without further incident, allowing the vessel to leave the anchorage under its own power.
BLACK ROSE - Paradip, India; Salvage - Resolve was contracted by the Paradip Port Trust to remove approximately 900mt of oil from the iron ore carrying vessel which had capsized about 5km off the east coast of India. A salvage and dive team attended the casualty and successfully removed all the hazardous oil.
WESTERHAVEN - Belize City, Belize; Salvage - Container ship WESTERHAVEN (8,450 dwt) ran aground a coral reef off the coast of Belize en route to Guatemala. RESOLVE and partner SVITZER successfully refloated the vessel.
SEAWITCH - Baltimore, MD; Wreck Removal - Resolve successfully performed the remediation and refloating of the SEAWITCH, a 446' derelict vessel which was used to store oil during the scrapping of naval ships in Baltimore Harbor.
CATTLEYA - Puerto Limon, Costa Rica; Salvage - Hopper/Suction Dredge CATTLEYA (2,470 dwt) was left stranded ashore in Puerto Limon, Costa Rica after heavy seas broke her free of her moorings. Foul weather turned the salvage project into a wreck removal project.
ISLAND INTREPID - Miami, FL; Salvage - General Cargo ISLAND INTREPID (2,174 dwt) ran hard aground while navigating within Government Cut, Port of Miami. Vessel was successfully refloated less than 24 hours after the incident.
AMERICAN TERN - Long Beach, CA; Tow - General Cargo AMERICAN TERN (17,175 dwt) was stranded adrift when RESOLVE responded to the casualty and towed it to safe harbor.
ZUNI PRINCESS - Miami, FL; Tow - Bulk Carrier ZUNI PRINCESS (28,166 dwt) experienced engine failure and requested a RESOLVE tow from Outer Anchorage Miami, FL to Port of Miami.
TEXAS CLIPPER - Brownsville, Texas; Reefing - RESOLVE remediated and prepared this 473' training vessel from Texas A&M University for sinking as an artificial reef. All hazardous materials were removed including lead paint, asbestos, PCB's, mercury, etc. while removing and preserving unique items of historical value for the University. The vessel was made "diver safe" and prepared for sinking. The vessel was successfully laid to rest
VOYAGER II - Mobile, AL; TowRESOLVE was able to successfully respond to handy size bulk carrier M/V VOYAGER II after losing engine power due to a bad compressor. RESOLVE provided a compressor and towed vessel to safety.
WHITE SEA - Staten Island, NY; Salvage - Oil Tanker WHITE SEA (98,929 dwt), en route to Singapore, ran aground off of Coney Island, NY when it lost steering. RESOLVE lightered the vessel and refloated it. The USCG described the response as an "ideal" salvage plan.
SEAPOWET - Gulf of Mexico; Tow - After its main engine broke down, oil tanker SEAPOWET (74,928dwt) was left adrift in an oil field containing multiple platform structures. RESOLVE quickly mobilized a tug from Fourchon, LA and towed vessel to safe anchorage.
TAURACAVOR - Offshore North Carolina; Tow - Dredge TAURACAVOR 50 miles offshore Cape Fear. RESOLVE was engaged by vessel owners to remove fuel and other pollutants from dredge TAURACAVOR.
MONTROSE - Chesapeake, MD; Salvage - Bulk Carrier MONTROSE ran aground in Chesapeake Bay, MD with a full load of coal. RESOLVE successfully refloated the vessel after lightering was performed.
EMPIRE - Empire, LA; Wreck - Removal - RESOLVE performed several wreck removals for the State of Louisiana from hurricane's Katrina and Rita.
MAERSK SCOTLAND - Offshore, East Coast USA; Tow - Main engine breakdown. RESOLVE mobilized tugs and safely towed vessel to Norfolk, VA.
MARIELLE BOLTEN - Dominican Republic; Salvage - 800' multipurpose general cargo vessel laden with steel products stranded at the entrance to Puerto Plata during adverse weather conditions. RESOLVE and JV partners, Svitzer Salvage, lightered approximately 5,000 tons and refloated the vessel. She was stabilized and towed to Freeport, Bahamas where salvors coordinated the offloading of the full cargo prior to redelivering the vessel to her owner on the dry dock.
ex-ORISKANY - Corpus Christi, Texas; Reefing - a 190' decommissioned US Navy Essex Class aircraft carrier. RESOLVE along with a partner company, accomplished the complete remediation of the vessel using a staff of over 150 personnel. Work included accessing and cleaning over 500 tanks and the removal of a large quantity and variety of hazardous materials including lead paint, PCB's asbestos, etc. The RESOLVE team towed the carrier to Pensacola, Florida where final preparations were made by RESOLVE to sink the vessel off of Pensacola. Ex-Oriskany became an artificial reef on May 17, 2006.
CLIPPER LASCO - Fort Lauderdale, Florida; Salvage - 600' bulk carrier laden with bauxite ore grounded off Port Everglades, Florida. RESOLVE and JV partner, Svitzer Salvage, lightered approximately 2,500 tons of her cargo and refloated her with tug assistance.
LA MARIE - Sabine Pass, Texas; Salvage - Offshore tug contacted a submerged object, capsized and sank 30 miles offshore Sabine Pass, Texas. RESOLVE removed over 100,000 gallons of diesel fuel, refloated and stabilized the capsized vessel prior to towing her into Sabine Pass. Once in the sheltered port, RESOLVE crews with the assistance of two derrick barges righted the vessel. She was then towed to Morgan City and redelivered to her owner.
MYKALI - SW Pass, Mississippi; Salvage - Panamax bulk carrier was refloated at Southwest Pass of the Mississippi River. The vessel grounded in soft mud and had considerable settling. With the assistance of 5 tugs and ballast adjustments the vessel was safely refloated. This work was accomplished with Wijsmueller Salvage.
SEA CLOUD - St. Croix, USVI; Salvage - 450' container ship was stranded at the entrance to St. Croix. RESOLVE and JV partner, Svitzer Salvage, refloated the vessel with assistance of tugs and the internal transfer of onboard fuel and ballasting.
INDEPENDIENTE - Nassau, Bahamas; Salvage/Tow - 580' bulk cement carrier was grounded and sustained significant bottom damage including running gear, breached fuel tanks, ballast tanks and void spaces. RESOLVE stabilized the vessel, conducted temporary hull repairs, lightered the fuel and contaminated ballast water and towed her from Nassau to Freeport, Bahamas.
ITB MOBILE - Sabine Pass, Texas; Salvage - 400' integrated tug / barge was stranded at the entrance to Sabine Pass. RESOLVE lightered approximately 20,000 barrels of gasoline, refloated the vessel and redelivered her safely to her owners.
APACHE (Barge) - Plantation Key, Florida; Salvage - 450' Liquid Natural Gas tank barge ran aground following a hurricane. She was refloated by developing an exit channel through the sensitive coral reef and sea grass system.
POLYHRONIS - New Orleans, Louisiana; Salvage - 750' vessel was stranded 'high and dry' on the bank of the Mississippi River during the passage of Hurricane Katrina. RESOLVE along with JV partner, Svitzer Salvage, refloated her using a combination of ballast management and tug boats.
DBL-152 (Barge) - Sabine Pass, Texas; Salvage - 450' fuel barge hit a submerged object and subsequently capsized and sank 25 miles offshore from Sabine Pass, Texas. RESOLVE responded by lightering all of her cargo (No. 6 Diesel Fuel), stabilized, refloated and towed the capsized vessel to Theodore, Alabama. At Theodore, RESOLVE crews cleaned all the tanks and removed the deckhouse before redelivering the barge to its owner.
SPERCHIOS - Puerto Rico; Salvage - This fuel oil tanker grounded while entering port. RESOLVE and JV partner, Svitzer Salvage, coordinated assets and lightered 10,000 metric tons of her cargo. The vessel was subsequently refloated with the aid of ballast water management and tugs.
ARCHANGELOS GABRIEL - Sabine Pass, Texas; Salvage - Fuel oil tanker grounded offshore of Galveston, Texas. RESOLVE safely refloated the vessel with the assistance of tugs.
TERRA FERRE 502 (Barge) - New York / New Jersey; Salvage - 296' dump scow barge capsized while transporting a cargo of dredging materials. RESOLVE towed the vessel to dry dock at Bayonne, New Jersey where she was righted and redelivered to her owners in stable condition.
BAY TITAN - Miami, Florida; Salvage - 5,000 hp tug capsized while entering the Port of Miami with a container barge in tow. RESOLVE disconnected the container barge from the tug and towed it into port, removed 60,000 gallons of diesel fuel from the tug, righted and refloated. The tug was towed to the Port of Miami / Miami River and redelivered to owners.
ALEKSANDR POKRYSHKIN - Port of Cortes, Honduras; Salvage - 797' fully laden tanker was grounded inside the Bay of Cortes. RESOLVE and JV partner, Wijsmuller Salvage, lightered 6,000 metric tons of fuel oil from the casualty and refloated the vessel.
EASTWIND - Port Everglades, Florida; Salvage - 27,000 DWT bulk carrier grounded off Fort Lauderdale, Florida. RESOLVE subcontracted to Titan Salvage, transferred the vessel's fuel from bottom to topside tanks, adjusted the ballast water and refloated the vessel.
ALBERT E. WATTS - Mobile Bay, Alabama; Wreck Removal - 592 ft T-2 tanker partially submerged in Mobile Bay after approximately 30 years of use by the U.S. Coast Guard as a fire test platform. The vessel contained a large quantity of hazardous materials including asbestos, PCB's, lead paint, mercury, oily waste, etc. The deteriorated condition precluded it from being towed. RESOLVE remediated and dismantled the vessel in-place with full involvement and compliance of federal, state and local agencies.
CONTRADER - Nassau, Bahamas; Salvage - 400' vessel capsized at the dock during a hurricane. RESOLVE and JV partner, Titan, removed fuel and righted the vessel prior to redelivering her in a stable condition to her owners.
FORTUNE EPOCH - Savannah, Georgia; Salvage - 600' multipurpose RoRo general cargo vessel sustained a gash to the hull and subsequently fuel and ballast tanks breached. RESOLVE removed the fuel and installed a semi-permanent underwater patch to enable the vessel to safely transit to a dry dock.
M/V ALOUETTE ARROW - Cape Canaveral, FL; Salvage - Loaded freighter from Germany in route into the Port Of Cape Canaveral grounded on a shoal. A RESOLVE salvage master and salvage engineer identified a safe exit path, deballasted her forward tanks and connected a Seabulk tug. Vessel was refloated within 12-hours of the time she ran aground.
M/Y EVENING STAR - Dry Tortugas, FL; Salvage - This vessel grounded in the Marine Sanctuary off the Florida Coast on a live coral reef. RESOLVE, at the request of the State of Florida, came in and assisted a salvage team with the removal of the casualty by providing equipment and the plan. Once refloated RESOLVE's salvage master and salvage technician stayed aboard as a riding crew to assure the vessels' safe delivery to the shipyard.
M/V HOLIDAY - Cancun, Mexico; Salvage - This Carnival Cruise ship ran aground off Cancun, Mexico. It had 2,400 people aboard. RESOLVE's salvage master, salvage engineer and assistant salvage master worked with the Carnival team reinforced deck fittings to secure tugs, shifted fuels and removed all possible jettison weight including life boats and 160 tons of passengers. With a tug attached we refloated the vessel with no bottom damage.
HERCULES - Ensenada, Mexico - Wreck Removal - This Fugro Jack-up rig experienced a structural failure and collapsed in Ensenada, Mexico and became a total loss. RESOLVE sent a salvage master, salvage techs. and dive team, working with Divecon we removed the wreck.
DECK BARGE - Tampa, FL; Wreck Removal - This barge was sunk at International Ship Repair's facility in Tampa, Florida. RESOLVE cut this vessel up underwater using a 15-ton guillotine shear on our 175-ton barge mounted crane. We then placed the sections on the shore where we cut them up and disposed of.
M/T PATRIOT - Florida Straits; Fire Response - This loaded oil tanker experienced an engine room fire while underway off the Florida Straits. RESOLVE provided a fire fighting strike team to the vessel. The team boarded the vessel and made entry into the engine room. Our team determined the cause of the fire and she was then towed into port.
DRY-DOCK FUTURE - Tampa, FL; Salvage - This dry-dock 220' x 105' experienced a major hull failure in Tampa, Florida when a 300 ton end section of the dock failed. We mobilized our salvage vessel and crane barge. Using a guillotine type we cut off the 300-ton end section. Our divers sealed this end. We then installed 20 electric and hydraulic pumps, patched hundreds of holes and opening and refloated this wreck. RESOLVE then sealed the wreck hull and towed it to New Orleans, La. where we sold for scrap.
LSD SPIEGEL GROVE - Key Largo, FL; Artificial Reefing - Ex US Navy vessel capsized while being sunk for an artificial reef off Key Largo, Florida. RESOLVE mobilized salvage team, salvage vessel and equipment. By inducing 2,500 tons of air into the port side of the vessel, attaching 500 tons of airlift bags and by using 2 tugs RESOLVE was able to successfully sink the vessel onto her starboard side.
M/V CONTI SEATTLE - Miami, FL; Salvage - 35,000-ton container vessel ran hard aground when it lost steering while entering the port of Miami. Vessel was effectively blocking the Miami, Florida channel. RESOLVE mobilized salvage team and equipment. Lightered 500 tons of containers, de-ballasted the vessel and with 5 tugs re-floated the vessel. All accomplished within 19 hours of being hired.
M/V CHEM - Ensenada, Mexico; Tow - 438' vessel had a main engine failure south of 300 miles south of Ensenada, Mexico. RESOLVE mobilized a tug and towed the vessel into Ensenada.
M/V LADY CLAUDIA - Gonaive, Haiti; Salvage - Coastal freighter sank at the dock in a sudden storm Gonaive, Haiti. RESOLVE mobilized salvage team and equipment. Rolled the vessel upright, dewatered and removed her from blocking the dock.
M/V FARO I - Miami, FL; Salvage - Coastal freighter lost power and grounded on a beach in Miami, Fl. Because of the high risk of pollution the US Coast Guard hired RESOLVE. RESOLVE mobilized salvage team, vessels and re-floated the vessel without any pollution and no with damage to vessel's hull.
Tug SEA GIANT - Antigua, W.I.; Salvage - Unmanned ocean tug dragged her anchor in a storm and stranded on Antigua Island, Caribbean. RESOLVE mobilized a salvage team, tugs and crane barge. Dug a channel and refloated vessel using 2 tugs.
M/V TINA - Port of Spain, Trinidad; Tow - Coastal freighter adrift outside Port of Spain, Trinidad. Dispatched the salvage vessel LANA ROSE, made tow and successfully delivered to safe berth.
M/V RUBIN BONANZA - Port Esquivel, Jamaica; Fire Response 26,000 ton geared bulk carrier laden with soybean meal sustained fire in cargo hold number 5. Mobilized 8 man firefighting team along with 30,000 pounds of equipment aboard charter cargo plane to the scene. Successfully suppressed fire and saved 99% of cargo.
F/V NEOLLA No. 7 - Kingston, Jamiaca; Salvage - 200' fish factory vessel stranded on coral reef outside Kingston, Jamaica. On scene Salvage Master worked jointly with Kasel Salvage Ltd to safely refloat the vessel with tug assistance.
M/V MELFI ECUADOR - Kingston, Jamiaca; Salvage - 4,000 ton Container ship grounded outside Kingston, Jamaica. Mobilized tug and barge from San Juan, Puerto Rico to lighter cargo. Dispatched Salvage Master and portable fuel offloading equipment to handle vessel bunkers.
M/V MARLAGO - St. Thomas, V.I.; Consulting - RESOLVE was asked to develop an engineering plan for U.S. Coast Guard approval for the removal of this 400 ft sunken Ro/Ro cargo vessel in St. Thomas. Navy Supervisor of Salvage Engineers had reported that the vessel could not be safely refloated by pumping due to stability problems. RESOLVE engineers developed an effective pumping plan that resulted in the safe refloating and removal of the vessel.
M/V FOREST CARRIER - Soputhwest Pass, La; Tow - 4,000 ton lumber cargo ship disabled outside Southwest Pass, Louisiana. Mobilized tug SEA GIANT from East Coast of Florida, connected and successfully delivered to safe berth at Corpus Christi, Texas.
Tug KIMTON - Fajardo, Puerto Rico; Wreck removal - 125' motor tug grounded on shore at Fajardo, Puerto Rico. Performed wreck removal by hydraulic shear and gas cutting under contract to U.S. Coast Guard. Also performed search and disposal of explosives found aboard the vessel.
S/S MANUELA & S/S CRISTOBAL COLON - San Juan, Puerto Rico; Wreck Removal - 250' historical cargo ships sunk in San Juan harbor by the Spanish crown during the Spanish-American War to blockade the harbor. Performed archaeological wreck removal and relocation under contract to Army Corps of Engineers.
S/Y GALLIFREY - St. Thomas, USVI; Salvage - Sailing yacht stranded on reef outside St. Thomas, USVI. Under US Coast Guard pollution response contract, RESOLVE dispatched the salvage vessel LANA ROSE, safely refloated, towed to a safe berth and removed fuels.
Barge BERG - Ile Tortuga; Salvage - 3000 ton deck barge sunk in 30 feet of water off the Ile Tortuga, Haiti, with full load of aggregate. RESOLVE mobilized salvage team, crane barge, and 2500 ton barge to the scene. Lightered cargo, performed underwater repairs and refloated with compressed air. Barge was safely delivered to Manzanillo, DR.
M/V MARY STAR OF THE SEA - Miami, FL; Wreck Removal - RESOLVE mobilized personnel and equipment under contract with the State of Florida and Federal Authorities to undertake removal and disposal of the wreck. Hull was sectioned and lifted with RESOLVE chain pullers/lifters and barge crane and placed at a designated artificial reef site.
TUG NEPTUNE & BARGE JAMAICA V - Dania, FL; Salvage - 2000 ton deck barge and 100' ocean tug aground in Intracoastal Waterway near Dania, Florida. Mobilized salvage team and assist tugs. Re-floated tug and barge and redelivered safely to berth at Port Everglades.
M/V CANOUAN - San Juan, Puerto Rico; Tow - 400' General Cargo ship adrift with steering system damage off Mona Passage. Mobilized 4200 hp tug rescued vessel and safely towed back to San Juan, Puerto Rico.
SAN JUAN HARBOR CLEARANCE - San Juan, Puerto Rico; Wreck Removals - Mobilized personnel and equipment and performed clearance of several shipwrecks sunk San Juan harbor under contract 3-month project to Great Lakes Dredge & Dock. Performed extensive airlifting, underwater cutting and heavy lift operations.
Barge KEY WEST - Nevis, W.I.; Salvage - 14,000 barrel ocean going tank barge partially laden with gasoline grounded on a rocky coast off Nevis during hurricane Lenny. RESOLVE mobilized a salvage team along with salvage gear including pollution control and firefighting. Safely removed product and gas freed cargo tanks. Barge PAJARITOS 252 - Palm Beach, FL; Salvage - 5,700 ton ocean deck barge loaded with vehicles and containers grounded off Palm Beach, Florida in heavy weather. Barge sustained severe hull damage breaching a total of 14 tanks. RESOLVE mobilized a salvage team, heavy equipment and tugs to secure, repair, and safely re-floated the barge.
Barge SANTO DOMINGO - Gulf of Mexico, USA - 5,000 ton ocean deck barge overturned with full load of scrap steel in heavy weather 100 miles offshore U.S. Gulf. Coordinated safe towage to port, performed underwater repairs, rigged for heavy lift, overturned with two derrick barges applying 600 tons of lift.
Dredge "SAVANNAH II" - St. Kitts, W.I.; Salvage - 150' long 24" Suction cutter head dredge hard aground on St. Kitts shoreline as a result of Hurricane Lenny. RESOLVE's salvage team safely re-floated within 15 days.
Barge ALEX M - St. Kitts, W.I ; Salvage - 2,000 ton barge aground and partially sunk in St. Kitts as a result of Hurricane Lenny. Effected temporary repairs and safely re-floated.
"COASTAL NEW YORK" - Hollywood, FL; Salvage - 330' container barge grounded off Hollywood Beach, Florida during hurricane Irene. Mobilized salvage team and rigged high strength mooring hawser to shore to keep the barge from shifting down the shoreline. Connected 4,000' of floating tow hawser to a 3,300 hp tugboat , safely re-floated and delivered to safe berth at Port of Miami.
Barge SAN JUAN-JAX - East Coast, USA; Salvage - 700' container barge adrift in heavy weather during hurricane Floyd following the sinking of her tug GULF MAJESTY. Dispatched tug SEA GIANT and salvage team to assist in the recovery by boarding the barge and torch cutting the towing bridles. SEA GIANT connected to emergency tow cable and held barge safely for about 24 hours until arrival of tug SENTINEL.
Barge "A.S. No 1" - Grand Turk, TCI; Salvage - 1500 ton deck barge grounded in Grand Turk and sustained severe bottom damage during hurricane Floyd. Mobilized salvage team, and re-floated by using compressed air within 48 hours after arrival.
Dredge MARICAVOR - Miami, FL; Salvage - 150' long dipper dredger sunk in the Port of Miami, Florida in approximately 40' of water. Fitted salvage hatches with 6" hydraulic submersible pumps, connected 300 tons of lift bags along outboard side to stabilize and proceeded to re-float by dewatering. Upon re-floating cleaned interior compartments and preserved machinery.
Barge "568" / "578" - Jacksonville, FL; Salvage - 6,000 ton floating triple deck platform partially sunk in the St. John's River, Jacksonville, Florida. Removed concrete superstructure, repaired steel hull (250' x 100') and sealed leaks. Re-floated platform and moored safely alongside pier.
"PUENTE VALIENTE" - San Juan, Puerto Rico; Salvage - 3,000 triple deck steel/concrete floating platform capsized and partially sunk in San Juan harbor, Puerto Rico. Mobilized salvage team and equipment and successfully raised by a combination of compressed air injection coupled with about 300 tons of external lift. Significant underwater steel repairs and reinforcements were performed prior to re-floating. Following the re-floating, the platform was internally repaired and was placed back in operation.
M/T "CHAMPION TRADER" - New Orleans, LA; Salvage - 30,000 ton Chemical tanker tanker sustained explosion in way of bunker tank and cargo tank causing it to list. Master ran vessel aground on bank of Mississippi River as a precaution. RESOLVE mobilized salvage team and with assistance of three tugs successfully re-floated vessel and towed to up river to New Orleans.
M/T "ALPHATANK" - Jacksonville, FL; Salvage - 100,000 ton Crude Oil tanker fully laden adrift off Florida coast due to auxiliary engine failures. RESOLVE mobilized tug, its 110-ton crane barge, a supply vessel, and a salvage team to transport and load two 600 KW portable generators and rendezvous with the tanker approximately 80 miles offshore Jacksonville, Florida.
M/V "GRANELERO III" - Dominican Republic; Tow - 300' GENERAL cargo vessel, sustained main engine damage off Dominican Republic and was drifting towards shore at 2knots. RESOLVE dispatched its tug RESOVE MANATEE and was able to successfully rescue vessel approximately 5 miles from shore and deliver to safe anchorage.
BARGE "MASTIC POINT" - Nassau, Bahamas; Salvage - 3,000 ton water tank barge sunk in Arawak Cay channel, Nassau, Bahamas. Safely re-floated barge with airlift bags, applied compressed air. Secured for sea and towed 2 miles outside harbor where it was scuttled in 800' of water.
BARGE "W-408" - St. Johns, USVI; Salvage - 31,000 ton deck barge laden with bagged cement broke her tow and grounded over coral reef in St. John's, U.S. Virgin Islands. Removed cement from sea bottom, patched barge and connected lift bags to re-float barge. Barge was safely re-floated and towed to artificial reef site outside U.S. waters.
M/V BEATRIX - Kingston, Jamaica; 2,000 ton General Cargo ship adrift due to main engine damage south of Kingston, Jamaica. Mobilized RESOLVE's tug SEA GIANT to rescue the ship and successfully delivered vessel to Cartagena, Colombia.
M/T "RECOVERY III" - Colon, Panama; Salvage - 200' Coastal tanker sunk in 40 feet of water outside Colon, Panama. RESOLVE mobilized salvage team and equipment to work jointly with TISA a local contractor. Vessel was sealed and pressurized with air. It was safely re-floated and disposed of by sinking in 300 feet of water outside Panama.
M/V "STAR II " - Morant Point, Jamaica; Salvage - 25,000 ton Bulk Carrier laden with raw sugar heavily aground on coral reefs outside Morant Point, Jamaica. Jettisoned cargo, removed anchor from under hull, performed repairs and safely re-floated with two tugs. Towed to Kingston, Jamaica.
BARGE "TMI 80" - Port Canaveral, FL; Salvage - 13,000 ton tank barge laden with Caustic Soda developed hull fractures and began flooding outside Port Canaveral, Florida. Mobilized salvage team with portable pumping equipment. Dewatered and stabilized barge and repaired hull fractures to the satisfaction of ABS and USCG.
M/V "HIND" - Fort Lauderdale, FL; Salvage - 450' RO-RO ship dragged anchor and grounded heavily and damaged rudder about 300' off Fort Lauderdale beach. RESOLVE mobilized 15 man salvage team, along with portable salvage equipment including 7,000 feet of high strength floating hawser and six tugboats. Lightered fuel oil to Frac tanks on deck barge. Deballasted using portable pumps and jettisoned hatch covers. Safely re-floated vessel and towed to Miami.
M/V "FRET LANGUEDOC" - Grand Cayman; Tow - 400' Heavy Lift ship adrift with main engine damage off Grand Cayman fully laden with power plant components. RESOLVE's tug SEA GIANT safely rescued ship. The SEA GIANT was kept on hire to tow the vessel to scheduled discharge ports during the subsequent 30 days.
TUGS "TRACY" & "HAWK" - North Miami, FL; Salvage - 120' and 80' ocean-going tugs beached at North Miami under heavy weather conditions. RESOLVE mobilized salvage team, portable salvage equipment, and tugs. Safely removed fuel and lube oil to shore side tank trucks. The HAWK was re-floated within 48 hours of mobilization while the TRACY required dredging with hydraulic pumps and with RESOLVE's salvage tender T.G. Hobbs. The tugs were safely re-floated and towed to Port Everglades for repairs.
M/V "PACIFIC MAKO" - Fort Lauderdale, FL; Salvage - 400' RO-RO ship dragged anchor and bounced over coral reefs and grounded outside Fort Lauderdale, Florida in heavy weather conditions. As a result of the grounding, both anchors were fouled and the rudder was seriously damaged. RESOLVE mobilized a tug along with a salvage team and proceeded to free anchors and re-float vessel within 48 hours of arrival on-scene.
DREDGE "MERIDIAN" - Boca Raton, FL; Salvage - 200' Cutterhead-Suction dredge dragged anchor in heavy weather and grounded approximately 200' from beach at Boca Raton, Florida. RESOLVE mobilized salvage team, tugs, and portable salvage equipment to re-float dredge. Dredge was safely re-floated and towed to a safe berth for repairs within 48 hours of arrival on scene.
M/V "GOIANA" - Kingston, Jamaica; Salvage - 3,000 Ton General Cargo ship laden with scrap iron grounded on coral reef outside Kingston, Jamaica. RESOLVE mobilized crane barge, tug, and salvage team to remove cargo on a daily rate contract. Cargo was partially offloaded as owners decided to stop operations due to heavy weather.
M/V "FIDELE EXPRESS - Miami, FL; Salvage - 1000 ton general cargo ship dragged anchor in heavy weather and grounded on shoreline in Miami Beach. Mobilized salvage team, 5,500 feet of high strength floating hawser and 2,000 hp tug to free vessel. Vessel was successfully re-floated within 14 hours.
M/V "ATLANTIC BULKER - Orinoco River; Salvage - 36,000 Ton bulker aground in the Orinoco River with full load of limestone. Lightered 6,000 tons of cargo with ship's gear onto deck barge and re-floated without tug assistance.
M/V SUN PRINCESS - Ocho Rios, Jamaica; Salvage - 77,000 ton passenger ship lost 13 shots of 95mm diameter anchor and 30,000 pound anchor in 800 feet of water outside Ocho Rios, Jamaica. Mobilized a tug and salvage crane barge with deep dive team. Successfully recovered anchor and chain loaded onto barge and delivered to Port Everglades, Florida.
M/V VALIANT - Yucatan Peninsula; Tow - 3,000 ton fully laden containership suffered main engine Damage off Yucatan Peninsula. Mobilized 3,000 hp tug SEAWITCH to rescue vessel and towed into Progreso, Mexico.
M/V "AXUS OF LONDON" & "POLAR TRANS" - Marigot Bay, St. Martin; Wreck Removal - 180 ft. dry cargo ships completely "high and dry" on Marigot Bay, St. Martin shoreline as a result of Hurricane Luis. RESOLVE mobilized a wreck removal team to remove fuel and lubes and cut ships in place for disposal.
M/V "CONTSHIP HOUSTON" - Key West, FL; Salvage - 60,000 ton container ship hard aground on coral reef off Key West, Florida. RESOLVE successfully performed re-floating jointly with SMIT Americas. Approximately 2,000 tons of bunkers were lightered to a tank barge. Vessel was safely re-floated and towed to Miami.

RESOLVE's salvage team effected temporary repairs, rigged beach gear and safely re-floated barge. Prepared dredge for ocean tow and dispatched to dry-dock in San Juan, Puerto Rico.
Barges "RECOVERY I" & "STEPHANIE M" - St. Kitts; Salvage - 270' and 160' deck barges impaled on St. Kitts shoreline due to Hurricane Luis. RESOLVE was engaged by Salvage Association to mobilize personnel and equipment in order to cut barges in place and dispose at sea.

VALUJET FLIGHT 592 - Florida Everglades; Salvage - DC-9 passenger jet crashed in the Florida Everglades. RESOLVE was hired by aviation underwriters to mobilize personnel and equipment and undertake the search and recovery of aircraft components and human remains.
M/V "DISCOVERY I" - Freeport, Bahamas; Salvage - 500' cruise ship sustained engine room fire which spread to accommodations in Freeport, Bahamas. Local firefighting efforts caused vessel to list approximately 15 degrees due to flooding. RESOLVE mobilized fire suppression team to stabilize and extinguish fire by applying AFFF.
M/T "UNITED TRITON" - 60,000 DWT crude oil tanker aground in San Juan River in Venezuela. Moored sister vessel alongside in high current restricted river. Lightered approximately 3500 tons of oil and safely re-floated.
Dredge "DEWITT CLINTON" - 1400 ton cutter head dredge sunk in 60 feet of water in the channel of Charleston, S.C. Rigged and raised by heavy lift. Towed to Fort Lauderdale, Florida, cleaned of all pollutants and sank in 150 feet of water as an artificial reef.
M/V "FIRAT" - Fort Lauderdale, FL; Salvage - 15,000 ton general cargo vessel aground 50 yards off Fort Lauderdale Beach, Florida. Offloaded fuel, lightered cargo and re-floated.
M/V "TALTY" - Puerta Plata, Dominican Republic; Salvage - 20,000 ton bulk carrier heavily aground in coral bank off Puerto Plata, D.R. Lightered 2000 tons of grain and 700 tons of heavy fuel oil. Pressurized ruptured double bottom tanks and safely re-floated vessel.
M/T "ALBINONI" - Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic; - 17,000 ton crude oil tanker exploded and broke in two sections, 90 miles off Santo Domingo. Boarded vessel's bow section 30 miles offshore and sank vessel by controlled flooding.
LPG/C "GOLDEN STAR" - Yucatan Peninsula; Tow - 7000 ton gas carrier disabled off Yucatan; dispatched tug from Miami and towed vessel back to Miami.
M/V "SUN DANCER" - Colombia; Salvage - 2,000 ton container ship capsized in Magadalena River, Colombia. Removed fuel, cargo, re-floated and prepared vessel for sea.
