Resolve Marine Group is looking for a junior naval architect who is a highly motivated problem solver with a spirit of adventure that enjoys travel and on-deck support of field operations. This individual will support salvage and emergency response projects with salvage engineering, and will develop drawings and plans to the satisfaction of the client and appropriate authorities. The work includes both onsite and remote support for Resolve’s worldwide salvage teams. This position is based in Fort Lauderdale, FL, but entails travel on short notice to anywhere in the world. In addition, candidate will be required to build and validate vessel computer models for damage stability plans. Bachelors Degree in Naval Architecture/Marine Engineering is required.
Chief Engineer or DDE Unlimited For diesel powered vessels, 6000hp, Salvage & Towing vessel. Solid EMD experience essential. Must be a U.S. citizen holding current USCG license, STCW, MMD and have a current passport. Assistant Engineer Licensed Assistant Engineer on diesel powered vessels, 6000hp, EMD engines. Should have experience in the troubleshooting and repair of networks, computers, projectors/monitors, marine electronics (RADAR, ECDIS, Gyro, and VHF/UHF) and associated software and hardware. Resolve Marine Group seeks a local professional mariner local with both small boat experience and instructor capabilities for STCW Personal Survival, PSSR and First Aid, and Fast Rescue Boat courses. Instructor Skills/Experience: confident with public speaking; operate up to 8 meter O/B & jet-drive vessels; I/B vessels up to 13 meters; RHIB's; towing large, heavy trailers; good driving record. License: USCG Master 500t or greater; experience on vessel with Fast Rescue Boat.
